back up  folders
I have folders that change frequently during the day. I have recently purchased an external box that I put a left over 300 GB IDE drive in. now what I would like to do is create a mirror of those folders, In the new external box. So when I am finished the external box will have will have a constant up to date back up of the folders on my main drive. I have some doc stored on flash drives and other docs that dont change that often, so it is only these folders that need constant change. I dont want to degreed system performance. I am dealing with a 100 gigs but only a small portion gets changed at a time. I am using win 7. Amd kuma 7750 with a gigabyte mother board ga-ma770-ud3 Not sure what other information would be needed.

ssosix, Windows Backup, which can be configured to run on a schedule from the Backup and Restore menu in the Control Panel, can be set to only back up a single directory - however, you will need to install a separate backup utility in order to perform the sort of incremental backup you describe; i.e., that in which only certain files are updated.-Alex
